Savannah Scott is a history PhD student at George Mason University. She received her BA from Bridgewater College in 2023. Savannah specializes in 20th century American history, digital history, and war and society. Her dissertation project focuses on environmental culture in the post-war US Army, looking at outdoor recreation and the beginnings of environmental management. She worked as a graduate research assistant at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, where she contributed to projects such as The Denig Manuscript, Death by Numbers, and SustainableDH. Her past projects include Out and About in Northern Virginia.
