Author: Robyn Gulliver

Dr Gulliver researches the antecedents and consequences of environmental collective action at the University of Queensland, Australia. She uses an interdisciplinary approach to examine how activist groups communicate with bystanders, supporters and third parties; how they mobilize supporters; how they build and sustain networks; and what their campaigns achieve. She is developing Australia’s largest database of environmental groups and campaigns and enabling the public to contribute to it as a citizen science project. Outside of her research work Robyn is a multi-award winning environmentalist, writer and researcher who has served as an organiser and leader of numerous local and national environmental organisations.
