Diana is a Cuban woman with an academic background in biology, ecology, conservation and environmental education with experience in Cuba, the United Kingdom, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. She is currently finishing her PhD focused on the human dimensions of plant invasions. She also has experience in co-furthering collaboration and engagement between different stakeholders around environmental challenges. Diana thinks of human societies as part of biodiversity —and hence environment.
